GYMBO INTRODUCES ACTIVITIES FOR THE “LITTLE ONES

GYMBO club announces the launch of its all-new Pre-School activities, as part of its overall strategy to cater to all age groups.

The Pre-School program is a sports and Intelligence development program to help stimulate brain development and resources of toddlers and kindergarteners, so they can succeed in school and life. It includes fun-filled activities in different areas such as Gymnastics, Visual art and Dancing.

In Gymnastics, the child learns how to channel his/her energy and obtain greater strength, flexibility and coordination. Early Years Dancing is a great way for kids to learn the fundamentals of dancing in a fun way. It incorporates stretching exercises as warm up followed by simple dance routine and mime. The kids learn how to work alongside each other, build their confidence, express their movements and keep a rhythm to the music. In Visual Art, kids work with almost all the different tools in art – crayons, glitter, pencils markets paper, ribbons, yarn chalk, puzzle, glue and many more. It helps to express themselves in many ways freely and independently. Clay and Dough modeling activities strengthen kids’ fingers and hands while developing gross motor skills and bring out in them creativity.

Natalia Semaan heads GYMBO Pre-School has a Ph.D in Russian language and literature but has been involved with kids for several years now. “According to studies, 90% of a child’s brain develops before the age of 5, and this comes to show how important the early years are,” says Natalia. “These years are the foundation that shapes children's future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement at school, in the family and community, and in life in general. At GYMBO, we introduced a series of activities for toddlers and kindergarteners, aged between 1 and 4 years old, that have a direct impact on how they develop learning skills, as well as social and emotional abilities. We are very pleased with the feedback we had to date from parents and guardians who are showing great interest in our offering,” added Natalia.

Ghassan Majed, General Manager of GYMBO, commented: “We are very much aware of the importance of the early years in every child’s life, in terms of development of his physical and mental capabilities. And for this, introducing Pre-School at GYMBO has always been part of our overall strategy. It is also a key element of our vision to become the leading club in Lebanon with the best offering for the whole family of all ages. I am proud to see that we were able to kick-off Pre-School much earlier than initially planned, and I must say we are receiving positive vibes from parents already.”

GYMBO Pre-School program runs every morning on weekdays between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and includes a whole range of fun-filled activities – Gymnastics, Dancing, Visual Art, Clay and Dough modeling, Talk & Hand Finger Motor development and a Puppet show.
